Coronation Street actor John Thomson is to become a father for the second time after his wife Samantha Sharp conceived naturally following three failed IVF attempts. A spokesman for the couple confirmed the happy news saying:

“The Thomson family are overjoyed – Sam is three months pregnant after three failed IVF treatments.”

They are already parents to daughter Olivia, 6.
