Princess Madeleine Shares Sweet Snap Of Siblings A Week On From Royal News

0

Just last week it was announced that five grandchildren of King Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden would have their royal titles dropped. Fast forward to today, Monday, October 14th and it’s been revealed that Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill‘s children Leonore, 5, Nicolas, 4, and Adrienne, 19 months, were three of those five grandchildren.

No longer using their royal titles means the three siblings no longer need to take part in any royal duties or be known as His or Her Royal Highness.

The move is welcomed by their mum — Princess Madeleine — who sees the change as a positive one. Speaking on her Instagram account and sharing this sweet snap of her three children, she revealed:

“This change has been planned for a long time.

Chris and I think it is good that our children now have a greater opportunity to shape their own lives in the future as individuals.”

Autumn Phillips Talks Life With Savannah and Isla

0

APWith the nation still celebrating the birth of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, 17 days, Autumn Phillips — wife of Peter Phillips and mum of Savannah Anne Kathleen, 4, and Isla Elizabeth, 3 — gave an insight of what it’s like having two children so close in age and, from her own experience, what it was like welcoming siblings in to the family.

When Isla was born, Savannah had just turned 15 months. I don’t think she really noticed at first there was another baby. She just wanted to run around and tear the place apart.

It’s when they get older it gets tricky. They learn to share by fighting each other off. I have an older brother, a twin brother and a half-brother and sister so I know what it’s like. But siblings are a gift.

Along with Savannah, Isla and Princess Charlotte, Queen Elizabeth II also has two other great-grandchildren — Mia Grace, 16 months, and Prince George Alexander Louis, 21 months. With 4 out of 5 of them being girls — Prince George is outnumbered for the time being. Says Autumn:

There are a lot of girls in the family now. Poor little George — he’s going to be surrounded by bossy little ladies. But when they all get together again, it’ll be a blast.

Former Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond Says Princess Diana Would Have Been a “very hands on” Grandmother

0

JBWith the nation in full swing baby fever after the birth of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, one person who would have been in her element and at the centre of it all would have been the tot’s late grandmother Princess Diana — who is fondly remembered in her granddaughter’s name.  Former royal correspondent Jennie Bond — who knew Princess Diana well — says the Princess would have been a “very hands-on” grandmother. Speaking to OK! magazine, she said:

“[She] would have been doting, tactile and a very huggy granny in a way that the Queen, possibly, has never been. She would have wanted the grandchild to know normality, to be on the other side of privilege.”

Angie Everhart Reveals Prince Andrew’s Gifts To Her Son Kayden

0

AE8A casual observer probably wouldn’t look twice at the discreet emblem on the collar of eight-week-old Kayden Bobby‘s neatly pressed babygro. But the little boy’s mother – the stunning American swimwear model and sometime Hollywood actress Angie Everhart – is keen to point out the tiny crown embroidered into the baby-blue towelling. Cradling her infant son in her arms, she rubs a manicured hand over the child’s outfit and confirms that the little crown represents the House of Windsor.

Andrew sent me this together with a baby blanket and a little sleeping bag, all of which have tiny little crowns on. He also sent me one of Sarah’s books about Budgie the helicopter. So cute.”

She refuses to reveal the precise nature of her relationship with Prince Andrew, 49, but she claims they speak on a weekly, if not a daily, basis.

Until now, she has never breathed a word about her long-standing relationship. Indeed, she remains deeply defensive, though her choice of phrase can sometimes give away more than, perhaps, she intended.

“Just because I’ve been linked romantically with him in the past it doesn’t mean I am still going to bed with him. Whether I am or not is nobody’s business but ours.”

Given their enduring friendship, it is hardly surprising that some of the less reputable sections of the American Press have unkindly speculated that baby Kayden may have Royal blood.

“Kayden’s daddy is someone who is not in the public eye. I have not named him because he asked me not to. He doesn’t want to have to deal with the publicity, but he’s someone who is very closely involved in the upbringing of the baby, he sees him all the time and he lives in Manhattan Beach, not in a palace in London. He has an 18-year-old son and wants to stay anonymous.”
