Actress Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban have welcomed their second child via surrogate. Daughter Faith Margaret was born at the Centennial Women’s Hospital in Nashville on December 28th. Although she was born via a gestational carrier both are her biological parents. Speaking of her joy the now mum of two said:
“Our family is truly blessed and just so thankful to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”
The 43-year-old also revealed that the name Faith was picked because it was something they needed to help them get through the process of their daughter being born. While Margaret was chosen after Nicole’s own grandmother — who gave birth to her last child at 49.
“We needed a lots of faith, literally [and] as an older mother I wanted to pay tribute to her.”
The pair are already parents to daughter Sunday Rose, 2. Nicole is also mum to children Isabella Jane, 18, and Connor Antony, 15.
