When your dad is a world-renowned, Michelin-starred chef, you can expect your birthday tea to be a bit special. Young Jean Frankie Patrick Kennedy Novelli, who turned 1 on August 29th 2009 and is the son of French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and his fiancee Michelle Kennedy – wasn’t about to be disappointed.
The picnic his proud parents laid on to celebrate his first birthday included a divine chocolate cake, encased in sponge fingers and adorned with a blue sugary teddy bear, whipped up that morning by Natacha Charlez, considered by many to be the best chocolatier in France.

Actress Sarah Parish and husband James Murrey are expecting their second child together in the New Year. This second pregnancy is particularly joyous for the couple after their daughter Ella-Jane sadly died at the age of eight months in January 2009 from a heart defect. Filming on the TV series Mistresses, in which Sarah stars, has been put on hold to help give her as stress-free a pregnancy as possible.
A source close to the delighted couple said:
‘Sarah’s thrilled to be pregnant and wants to make sure she does everything in her power to deliver a happy, healthy baby.”
While a spokesperson for the actress commented:
“Sarah and James are delighted to be able to let you know that they are expecting a baby early in the New Year. I hope you will understand their desire to keep any further details private until after the birth.”

Former Formula 1 businessman Flavio Briatore and wife Elisabetta Gregoraci are expecting their first child together in the Spring of 2010. Speaking of his exciting news, Flavio said:
“I am living a very emotional moment.”
He is also the biological father of supermodel Heidi Klum‘s daughter Leni, 5, with whom it is understood he has no contact with.

Kourtney Kardashian, who’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Scott Disick around Christmas, has found out that they will be welcoming a little boy. A source said:
“Kourt and Scott are psyched about having a baby, but having a boy is really exciting for them. She can’t wait to buy all sort of boy’s clothing. And [her brother] Robert is also eager to have a little nephew.”
The news will make things a lot easier for friends of the couple when they attend Kourtney’s baby shower on November 14th.

American reality TV ‘s Michelle and Jim-Bob Duggar have just received a very special gift — their first grandchild. The pair became grandparents after their son Joshua and wife Anna welcomed their first child — baby daughter Mackynzie Renee. She was born at home with both a midwife and a doula present on Thursday, October 8th and weighed 8lbs.
Michelle and Jim-Bob are about to become parents again themselves in March 2010 — to baby number 19.
