After returning from filming for Life on Marbs in Marabella, Alex Weaver was stunned to learn she was pregnant. The star, who didn’t realise she was already 17, weeks along revealed she only took a pregnancy test because of a strange craving for unwashed carrots.

“I [found out] when I was about 17 weeks pregnant. I’d just come home from Marbella. We finished filming at the end of July but I didn’t realise until September. I started having a craving for dirty carrots out of the bag. It was only when I was speaking to someone and they said: “When my friend was pregnant, she was craving dirty carrots – it’s the iron in the soil.”

The 19-year-old, who has recently taken a paternity test to prove that her unborn baby boy is ex-boyfriend Charles Martin‘s after cheating on him with The Only Way Is Essex‘s Dan Edgar, says she had no doubt that her former flame is the father.

“There was never any doubt in my mind it was Charles’ as I knew by the dates.”
