Eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child – due in December – Alanis Morrisette and husband Mario “MC Souleye” Treadway were seen taking a stroll across a beach in Mexico on Tuesday, November 2nd. The singer celebrated her baby shower in Santa Monica last week with around 25 guests. Among one of the gifts brought along was one featuring the words “It’s a boy!” Could that be an indication of the sex of baby on the way or maybe just a teaser for everyone?

Singer Charlotte Church has revealed that she’d like ex-boyfriend Gavin Henson to meet her current partner Johnny Powell soon so that the rugby player can see for himself the man who will be spending some time with thier children – daughter Ruby Megan, 3, and Dexter Lloyd, 22 months. She told December’s issue of Glamour Magazine:
“I had a chat with him and want the two to meet properly soon. It’s never going to be comfortable but if Johnny is going to spend any time with the kids, it’s important Gavin knows who he is – and I’d expect the same from Gavin.'”
The December issue is out on Thursday, November 4th.

Mum-to-be Mariah Carey appeared on George Lopez‘s chat show last night (Tuesday, November 2nd) and revealed that husband Nick Cannon is trying to be really practical with her pregnancy.
“He came home with all these bags which was sweet and I’m looking at them trying to be nice about it because I’m a little specific about my stuff.
“[He] got me all these flat shoes and is really trying to be responsible about it
“So they’re really cute but every one of them had the thing between the toes like regular flip flops and that just doesn’t work for me. My toes don’t like it. ‘But I do need to learn how to wear them because ever since I was little I would walk on my tip toes and I don’t know why it’s how my feet are. ‘They just need to put some wheels on them for me and I’ll be good.”
TV host George, may even have let slip a secret about singers Beyonce and Jay-Z — could the rumours about the couple expecting their first child be true? speaking to Mariah’s unborn child he said:
“You’ve heard a lot of Christmas music lately but don’t worry, your mummy’s recording a holiday album not working at one of those annoying holiday stores. If you want to be like mummy, when you cry you have to point to the ceiling when you hit the high notes.
“Soon you will be saying your first words – mummy, daddy, Gucci Gucci, Louboutin. And you will have the first baby shoes with red on the bottom. Thankfully your parents didn’t give you a crazy Hollywood name like T-Shirt because then you would be named T-Shirt Cannon. ‘So good luck baby Carey-Cannon, you’re gonna be fine – you’re musical royalty. Plus I’ve already arranged for you to be married off to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s unborn baby.”
Mariah and Nick’s baby is due sometime in the spring.

This Morning TV presenter Holly Willoughby surprised viewers by today by announcing the exciting news that she and husband Dan Baldwin are expecting their second child together.
Returning to the show after the school half-term break she excitedly told co-host Phillip Schofield and her viewers:
“It’s a relief to be back because I can finally say the lovely news that Dan and I are expecting another baby.”
She revealed that she had only been suffering from a few days of morning sickness and that as of yet the sex of baby number 2 is unknown.
“Dan is thrilled…and for Harry, a brother or sister, who knows.”

Little Orson Henry Atwood Wheeler enjoyed one of his first trips out with mum Tina Hobley recently — as she did a bit of retail therapy. This is the first time Tina’s been seen out and about with her son since his March 1st birth. Along with Orson, she is also mum to daughters Isabella “Bella“, 11 next month and Olivia Kitty Alice, 2 next month
