Joshua and Anna Duggar Welcome Daughter Mackynzie Renee

American reality TV ‘s Michelle and Jim-Bob Duggar have just received a very special gift — their first grandchild. The pair became grandparents after their son Joshua and wife Anna welcomed their first child — baby daughter Mackynzie Renee. She was born at home with both a midwife and a doula present on Thursday, October 8th and weighed 8lbs.

Michelle and Jim-Bob are about to become parents again themselves in March 2010 — to baby number 19.

Jennifer Hudson Introduces Son David Daniel In PEOPLE

Singer Jennifer Hudson introduces her 2-month old baby boy David Daniel Otunga Jnr in an upcoming issue of PEOPLE magazine. The new mum also took some time out to answer a few questions by the magazine.

On how hard it was keeping her pregnancy secret:

Jennifer: David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there.

On how she recovered after delivering David via Caesarean:

J: Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterwards but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others. By that night after I had the baby, I’m like, ‘Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore. I’ve got to get up!’ I’ve been up and about since he was born. To me, the pain is no different than when you work out a muscle you’ve never worked out before and it’s sore.

On if David’s personality has started to emerge:

J: He has a lot of personality, like David [Otunga, his dad and Jennifer’s fiancé]. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favourite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle; that’s all he wants.

Claire Richards Opens Up About Her Second Pregnancy

CR1Two years after Claire Richards and husband Reece Hill welcomed their first child — son Charlie, 2, — into the world, the former Steps star is pregnant again — but she’s not entirely happy.

“Those women who say they are glowing or have had a smooth pregnancy must be lying. I’d rather give birth than be pregnant. I’ve been so ill this time around, more so than when I had Charlie, vomiting and getting migraines.”

“Don’t get me wrong, I love being pregnant. I love having a big bump and I’m lucky I have a nice looking bump. But I’m seriously thinking about whether Reece and I want more kids.”

Natasha Kaplinsky Expecting Baby Number Two

NK1News reader Natasha Kaplinsky and husband Justin Bower are expecting their second child together. No due date is known at this point in time but a source said:

“She is obviously excited. She adores Arlo and loves being a mother. But she didn’t expect to be pregnant so soon and realises her bosses had hoped she would stay longer before going off on maternity leave again. She had planned to wait at least a year so she could get her career back on track.”

A spokesperson for Five News, where Natasha works, said:

“It was annoying the first time, but we’re relaxed about it now.”

The new baby will join the couple’s son Arlo, 12 months.
