Julian Lloyd Webber is set to become a father for the second time soon after his 60th birthday when wife Jiaxin Cheng gives birth in June. Speaking of the news the famous cellist and brother of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber said:
“We are both so happy — it’ll be the best birthday present in the world!”
He is already dad to son Daniel, 18, with ex-wife Zohra Ghazi.

Actress Kate Hudson is expecting her second child — her first with boyfriend Matt Bellamy of rock band Muse. A source close to the 31-year-old said:
‘It was not planned, but they are excited and embracing it.’
Kate is already mum to son Ryder Russell, 6, with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

Sir Elton John and husband David Furnish have become first-time parents. Son Zachary Jackson Levon was born on Saturday, December 25th via surrogate and weighed 7lbs 15oz at birth. Speaking of their joy in a joint statement the pair said:
“We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment. Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents.”

Popstar Pink — real name Alecia Moore — has officially confirmed her pregnancy news whilst appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. When host Ellen asked the singer why she was ‘glowing,’ Pink relied:
“I’m eating for two these days.”
The 31-year-old also revealed why she had kept quiet about her news up till now..
“[I] was just really nervous. I have had a miscarriage before but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you.”
Doctors have inadvertently hinted to Pink that baby one the way may be a little girl — but she and husband Carey Hart have opted for a delivery surprise to find out for sure.

Former Eastenders actor turned TV presenter Ross Kemp has become a father for the first time. The 46-year-old’s ex-girlfriend Nicola Coleman gave birth to a baby boy at the end of October. She said:
‘I have had a baby boy and Ross is the father. It was planned. We have seen each other for four years. He will be involved.’
Notoriously known to be very private about his personal life, Ross declined to divulge any information about the new arrival, saying:
‘I don’t speak about my private life and a child is always a blessing.’

Designer Vern Yip has kindly released several photos of his and husband Craig Koch‘s newborn son Gavin Joshua Mannox, who was born via surrogate on January 6th. And although he is only 2 weeks old — he’s already a veteran flyer. Says Vern:
This kid was born to travel …We’re already planning our first trip with him to Asia!
The 41-year-old also revealed that Gavin’s nursery has an Asian feel to it which celebrates worldwide cultures.
The nursery is unlike any other nursery I’ve ever seen before and very reflective of us. Lots of things brought back from trips to the most remote corners of the world. We really want our son to grow up aware of different cultures.
It’s based on a story that a monk in Bhutan told us during our journey there and features all four of our dogs.

GMTV weathergirl Clare Nasir appears in New magazine with her gorgeous baby daughter Sienna Clare, 9 weeks, and talks about what a miracle her little girl is. She married husband Chris Hawkins in 2005 and the pair soon got started on trying for a family. But after numerous disappointments and failed fertility treatment, the pair finally got what they wished for last year when Clare found out she was expecting.
Sienna was born 7 weeks early on November 11th 2009 after a very difficult pregnancy. After spending five weeks in the special care baby unit at University College Hospital in London she was finally able to go home with her proud parents at Christmas.

Ballet dancers Thomas Edur and Agnes Oakes have released this photo introducing their gorgeous 2-week-old daughter Elizabeth. After a 14 hour labour, the newborn arrived on her due date on Friday, January 1st. Speaking of her impeccable timing, new dad Thomas said:
She was very punctual. It’s such a beautiful moment, having a baby. I wake up at night and look at her for a long time — it’s amazing to see this little thing. It’s impossible to describe, and so emotional. And she’s so cute. She has illegal levels of cuteness!
Agnes agrees:
Thomas adores her. He has cried a lot — he’s just so happy. We still can’t believe this is it — we keep waiting for life to go back to normal! But she’s such a gorgeous baby and we adore her…Although I guess every mother says that.
The new mum plans to return to work at some point in the future but for now is “enjoying being a mummy.”
