John Barnes Welcomes His Seventh Child — His Third With Wife Andrea

Former footballer John Barnes has become a dad for the seventh time — his third with wife Andrea. Son Alexander was born on Sunday, November 7th — sharing the same birthday as his dad — and weighed 7lbs 3oz.

Despite Andrea going into labour while John was live on Sky Sports watching the Liverpool V Chelsea game – he was in no rush to make a dash to the hospital. After being asked if he’d like to leave. He replied:

“I’ll stay for the second half.”

Soon after saying that he decided he’d better head off to the hospital to meet his new son with presenter Richard Keyes reprimanding him with:

‘Quite rightly. He should have gone earlier.’

Little Alexander joins brothers and sisters Jamie, 24, Jordan, 21, Jemma, 17, Jasmin, 13, Isabella, 5, and Tia, 3.

Their newborn baby boy — who has yet to be named — was born over the weekend at University College Hospital in London and weighed 8lbs 3oz. The proud parents are said to be “overjoyed… and can’t wait to introduce the new arrival to his big brother Daniel.”‘

Ed plans to take 2 weeks paternity leave away from the labour party.

Former Eastenders actor turned TV presenter Ross Kemp has become a father for the first time. The 46-year-old’s ex-girlfriend Nicola Coleman gave birth to a baby boy at the end of October. She said:

‘I have had a baby boy and Ross is the father. It was planned. We have seen each other for four years. He will be involved.’

Notoriously known to be very private about his personal life, Ross declined to divulge any information about the new arrival, saying:

‘I don’t speak about my private life and a child is always a blessing.’

John Travolta Pilots Plane On 22 Hour Journey But Promises To Fly Straight Back If Wife Kelly Preston Goes In To Labour With Their Baby Boy

Despite his wife Kelly Preston due with their third child and second son in just under 3 weeks — actor, John Travolta has piloted a 22-hour flight to Australia in his Boeing 707 to join in with Qantas’ 90th birthday celebrations. He told Sydney’s Morning Herald newspaper,

‘If [my wife] goes into labour, I’ll have to take the plane straight back on a 22-hour flight. ‘If I get a call, I may have to say adios.’

John and Kelly are already parents to daughter Ella Bleu, 10. Sadly their eldest child, son Jett died in January 2009 from a seizure at the age of 16

Actress Katherine Heigl appears on the W Magaine’s December family issue with her 1-year-old daughter Naleigh. Inside she talks about adopting her Korean born little girl and how before she got engaged to husband Josh Kelley — she told him of her “clear” future adoption plans. She said:

‘I just wanted to make sure that I was marrying a guy who understands that this was going to have to happen.’

In fact the 34-year-old can’t praise her musician husband enough.

‘I really could not have imagined a better father for [Naleigh]. 

 ‘She’s the luckiest little kid. We call him “Disneyland Dad” because as soon as he comes in it’s just fun and happiness — and she rides around the room on his shoulders.

‘He’s [also] fantastic with diapers, food, naptime, playtime – he’s got it all.’
