Jennifer Hudson Introduces Son David Daniel In PEOPLE

0

Singer Jennifer Hudson introduces her 2-month old baby boy David Daniel Otunga Jnr in an upcoming issue of PEOPLE magazine. The new mum also took some time out to answer a few questions by the magazine.

On how hard it was keeping her pregnancy secret:

Jennifer: David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there.

On how she recovered after delivering David via Caesarean:

J: Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterwards but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others. By that night after I had the baby, I’m like, ‘Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore. I’ve got to get up!’ I’ve been up and about since he was born. To me, the pain is no different than when you work out a muscle you’ve never worked out before and it’s sore.

On if David’s personality has started to emerge:

J: He has a lot of personality, like David [Otunga, his dad and Jennifer’s fiancé]. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favourite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle; that’s all he wants.

Angie Harmon Says There Are No Boring Moments As A Stay At Home Mum

0

AE1Actress Angie Harmon has already said that her little girls have husband Jason Sehorn “whipped,” but it looks like he’s not the only one. Speaking at the Huggies Big Mover Shoe Auction in Manhatten on Monday, September 28th, she said:

“I’ve always sort of looked at stay-at-home moms and been like, ‘Oh gosh, how on earth do you do that? It seems so boring!’ There is not a boring moment! I’ll be in the car for four hours, just from taking them to school and someone forgot a lunch and then we got to go back with the project, it’s just amazing to me. I’ve really been enjoying that.”

Angie, who gave birth to the couple’s third daughter, Emery Hope, in December, says that between the 9-month-old and daughters Finley Faith, 5, and Avery Grace, 4, she and hubby Jason have all but given up on romantic time for now.

“It’s funny, we held hands the other day and it was so odd that it wasn’t a little hand, that it was a hand bigger than mine. We’re literally just like, ‘All right, great game, see you in the showers!’ That’s kind of it right now – we’re outnumbered. They try to take over as much as they can, it’s us against them.”

And her eldest daughters couldn’t be happier with the latest addition to the family: for them, Emery is just one more toy to play with.

“They treat her like she’s a doll, so it’s a bit alarming at times, but it’s really been very easy. They love her. We didn’t have any of the jealousy.”

Angie Everhart Reveals Prince Andrew’s Gifts To Her Son Kayden

0

AE8A casual observer probably wouldn’t look twice at the discreet emblem on the collar of eight-week-old Kayden Bobby‘s neatly pressed babygro. But the little boy’s mother – the stunning American swimwear model and sometime Hollywood actress Angie Everhart – is keen to point out the tiny crown embroidered into the baby-blue towelling. Cradling her infant son in her arms, she rubs a manicured hand over the child’s outfit and confirms that the little crown represents the House of Windsor.

Andrew sent me this together with a baby blanket and a little sleeping bag, all of which have tiny little crowns on. He also sent me one of Sarah’s books about Budgie the helicopter. So cute.”

She refuses to reveal the precise nature of her relationship with Prince Andrew, 49, but she claims they speak on a weekly, if not a daily, basis.

Until now, she has never breathed a word about her long-standing relationship. Indeed, she remains deeply defensive, though her choice of phrase can sometimes give away more than, perhaps, she intended.

“Just because I’ve been linked romantically with him in the past it doesn’t mean I am still going to bed with him. Whether I am or not is nobody’s business but ours.”

Given their enduring friendship, it is hardly surprising that some of the less reputable sections of the American Press have unkindly speculated that baby Kayden may have Royal blood.

“Kayden’s daddy is someone who is not in the public eye. I have not named him because he asked me not to. He doesn’t want to have to deal with the publicity, but he’s someone who is very closely involved in the upbringing of the baby, he sees him all the time and he lives in Manhattan Beach, not in a palace in London. He has an 18-year-old son and wants to stay anonymous.”

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady Opt For Delivery Surprise

0

GB2Despite rumors that she’s expecting a baby boy, Gisele Bündchen says she doesn’t yet know the sex of her and husband Tom Brady‘s baby – and the pair have no plans to find out! She tells Brazilian magazine Caras:

“We decided not to know. We will only know when it is born, in December. I want the emotion of finding out then if it is a boy or a girl.”

Of course that doesn’t mean she’s not already scouting for baby clothes and shoes – in case she has a little girl. Gisele markets a line of sandals in Brazil and says she’s already reserved baby-size ones.

“I kept some little sizes from the collections thinking that, if one day I had a girl, she would love to use them. The baby versions are really cute.”

Kate Garraway Reveals That Son Billy Is Already Showing His Male Characteristics

0

KB1TV presenter Kate Garraway has revealed that her baby son William “Billy”, 7 weeks has come down with a cold — and he’s a typical male about it. Speaking in her New Magazine column she said:

“Billy has come down with his first cold and reminds me of a sad, snuffly piglet! Normally when he’s hungry his cry is really urgent, as if to say, ‘Come on, I want that milk now!’ But since he has been ill, it’s been more like a slightly pathetic ‘bleat’ — like a kid goat! I told Derek, “He’s a typical man: he’s got a cold and it’s all a huge melodrama!”

The 41-year-old also says his male characteristics don’t stop there.

“I took him with me for a hospital check-up [Kate suffered from the breast infection mastitas after Billy’s birth and had to undergo surgery a couple of weeks ago] and the specialists made such a big fuss of him. Billy suddenly perked up and started cooing and giggling — really playing to his audience. As I sat there I realised he was displaying another male characteristic — he already loves female attention!”

Last week was also the first time Kate took Billy in to meet all her work colleauges at New Magazine.

Jessica Alba Reveals That Daughter Honor Is Almost Bilingual

0

JA1Actress Jessica Alba attended the Clinton Global Initiative in New York City on Thursday to promote global education for all children, and  revealed she also relentlessly promotes education at home with 1-year-old daughter Honor Marie.

“I am a mother who shoves information down her throat, poor thing. I sing her songs about colors in Spanish and English when I’m cooking. Literally I integrate learning into everything I do. We’re into colors because I feel that’s something a 15-month-old can sort of identify. So now she kind of points to blue and says ‘azul’ and I say ‘Yes, azul, muy bien!’ It’s slow going but she’s sort of picking it up.”

The Fantastic Four actress proudly says her little daughter is bilingual already – almost.

“She says gato for cat. Pato for duck, but dog is dog. She doesn’t say perro. She kind of flips back and forth. She’s very silly. She growls like a lion whenever I say leon.”

Jessica announced that she will be the United States co-chair of 1GOAL, the new campaign to make education for all children the legacy of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. She says as a mother “everything becomes more important,” particularly education, which is why she is particularly dedicated to the non-profit.

“It’s a human right, I believe, to have the opportunity to have an education and it’s unacceptable that 75 million children on this planet don’t have a chance to have one.”

She hopes to bring her daughter to Africa for the first time early next year.

“I’m actually really excited about going to Africa for the first time with my daughter and exposing her to a completely different culture and having her learn through life experiences. That’s one thing she’s going to get that not a lot of children have the luxury of having: traveling and being exposed to world issues and cultures and food. I can’t wait.”

She adds that she’s excited 1GOAL is affiliated with the World Cup because she is a soccer [football] fan.

“I played soccer when I was a kid and so did my husband. The wonderful thing about the 1GOAL campaign being tied into the World Cup is it’s the one time in the world when everyone puts down their differences, puts down their weapons, and roots for a team.”
