After much speculation singer/actress Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child with her NBA star fiance Eric Johnson. Taking to her website to officiate the happy news, she said:
“Its true, I am going to be a mummy.”
A photo of the 31-year-old in a Halloween style mummy outfit was accompanied with the message. Although no due date was announced, it is thought she is around 6 months pregnant.

American Pie‘s Thomas Ian Nicholas and wife Colette have welcomed their first child together. Son Nolan River was born after a 15-hour labour on Thursday, October 20th. He weighed 7lbs 4oz.

I’m looking for contributors to help with the blog. Unfortunately I’ve been unable to keep up with the blog for a couple of months due to demands of my family life. I’m a mum of 4 – aged 5 and under — one being just 5 weeks old so they take up the majority of my time so it’s been difficult keeping the blog updated. I really don’t want to close this blog — which i’m afraid i may have to do if I continue doing this solely as I have a load of fresh and exciting ideas for it.
Sophie Ellis Bextor and husband Richard Jones are expecting their third child together. The singer, who is already mum to sons Sonny, 7, and Kit, 2, took to Twitter to reveal her happy news saying:

TV presenter Myleene Klass and fiance Graham Quinn have welcomed their second child. Daughter Hero Harper Quinn was born at 5:02pm on Friday, March 25th. She weighed 6lbs 2oz. A statement on behalf of the couple yesterday read:
“This afternoon at 5:02pm Myleene gave birth to Hero Harper Quinn. Weighing 6lbs 2oz, Hero is Myleene’s second daughter.”
Hero joins sister Ava Bailey, 3.

Proud new mum Abbey Clancy showed off her 11-day old baby daughter Sophia Ruby to friends while out on a shopping trip in Liverpool with her own mum Karen.
Speaking of her joy about becoming a first time mum during a Radio 1 interview with Chris Moyles, she said:
You know I didn’t feel any pain through the labour because I had an epidural. But when she actually came out it was horrific.”

Actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott had a scare yesterday morning when their 3-year-old son Liam Aaron fell and hit his head, The pair rushed him to hospital as a precaution after he started vomiting, Thankfully after a thorough check over he was able to go home. Writing on twitter after her “scary morning,” Tori said:
‘Liam fell off kitchen table right on [sic] back of his head. Started throwing up. Just got back from ER. He’s better. Just have to watch him.”
She and Dean are also parents to Stella Doreen, 2.

Giuliana Rancic says she is fed up of people saying that the reason she is unable to conceive a child is due to her being skinny. Hitting back at those ‘ignorant people,’ she said:
‘It’s unbelievable to me the amount of ignorant comments [that] come in. Rachel Zoe is pregnant! To all the haters, get informed! Go Google it…it has nothing to do with anything. There are thin girls with infertility issues, normal-sized girls with infertility issues and overweight girls with infertility issues. Unless your doctor tells you your weight is affecting you in some way…once the doctor rules it out, that’s really not it.

“I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him.
“We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine. Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts.”

Actress Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban have welcomed their second child via surrogate. Daughter Faith Margaret was born at the Centennial Women’s Hospital in Nashville on December 28th. Although she was born via a gestational carrier both are her biological parents. Speaking of her joy the now mum of two said:
“Our family is truly blessed and just so thankful to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular, our gestational carrier.”
The 43-year-old also revealed that the name Faith was picked because it was something they needed to help them get through the process of their daughter being born. While Margaret was chosen after Nicole’s own grandmother — who gave birth to her last child at 49.
“We needed a lot of faith, literally [and] as an older mother I wanted to pay tribute to her.”
The pair are already parents to daughter Sunday Rose, 2. Nicole is also mum to children Isabella Jane, 18, and Connor Antony, 15.
