Speaking in the recent issue ofHello! Magazine, Una Healy and her rugby star boyfriend Ben Foden revealed that the baby they are expecting in March 2012 is going to be a little girl – news quite fitting for The Saturdays singer who was brought up with all girls. She said:
“I come from a family of all girls, I went to an all-girls school and I’m in a girl band, so I guess it’s fitting that I’m having a daughter.”
Boyfriend Ben says he is equally as “delighted,” with the news and although baby on the way wasn’t planned – it wasn’t that much of a surprise either.
“We weren’t trying for a baby. But we’d talked about starting a family and we’re in a loving and comitted relationship, so it wasn’t a massive shock. I was over the moon. I plan on spending the rest of my life with Una.”
While the pregnancy might not have been a big surprise – one thing that has surprised 30-year-old Una is people’s reaction to that fact that she still plans to go on tour with The Saturdays in December despite being around 6 months in her pregnancy at that point.
“I’ve been quite surprised that people have said: “How will you do this tour?” Naturally, I’ll be careful and I’d never do anything that would put our baby at risk. But I’m pregnant, not ill.
“Loads of women continue to work through their pregnancies and this is my job, so why wouldn’t I carry on doing what I love – especially when I feel so well.”

Kate Silverton and husband Michael Heron have welcomed their first child. Daughter Clemency Florence Rose was born naturally on Saturday, November 5th at the Queen Charlotte’s Hospital in Hammersmith. She weighed 8lbs 9oz. Speaking of the couple’s joy, their agent Jonathan Shalit said today:
“Michael and Kate Silverton-Heron are delighted to announce the birth of their baby daughter Clemency Florence Rose delivered naturally yesterday 5th November weighing 8lbs 9oz.
Kate says: “Clemency has big lips and feet like her Mummy.” Mother and baby are doing very very well.
Mike and Kate would like to express their thanks to the NHS staff at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital in Hammersmith especially leading midwife Jenny Smith and Dr Gowri Motha for their help and support in ensuring Kate and Clemency had a natural and as gentle a birth as possible.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z may have been keeping mum on the sex of their baby but it seems that pregnant Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland has let the cat out of the bag. Speaking at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards on Thursday, November 3rd, she said:
“I have no idea what I’m going to buy Beyonce at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible.”
The 30-year-old X factor UK judge has already nominated herself as a babysitter too.
“I’ll be on hand for babysitting duties and I’m actually very good with messy diapers!”

Hugh Grant has become a father for the first time to a baby girl with his former girlfriend Tinglan Hong. Details of her name and weight have not been released but it is thought she was born on September 26th at London’s Portland Hospital via Caesarean section. A spokesman for the About A Boy actor confirmed the news, saying:
“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl. He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms.”
