When you’re a working mum it can often mean that you can’t do the daily school runs yourself because of the timings of your job. For Spice Girl Emma Bunton, her’s is no different. She’s unable to do mornings because she’s one half of Heart FM‘s breakfast show with co-host Jamie Theakston. However, she is grateful that the early 6am start means she is able to at least be there to pick up sons Beau Lee, 7, from school and Tate Lee, 4, from nursery. Speaking to Essentials magazine, she said:
“I’m lucky that I work in the mornings, so generally I’m home in time to pick up Tate from nursery, then go to get Beau from school.”
But the 39-year old admits her over-enthusiastic demeanour at the school gates doesn’t go down too well with Beau — who finds his mum embarrassing.
“I literally grab them and squeeze them and kiss them. Beau’s only seven and he’s already like, ‘Eurgh Mum, get off!’”
“But I can’t help myself. I know it’s probably going to have to stop soon, so I’m making the most of it while I can.

With the nation in full swing baby fever after the birth of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, one person who would have been in her element and at the centre of it all would have been the tot’s late grandmother Princess Diana — who is fondly remembered in her granddaughter’s name. Former royal correspondent Jennie Bond — who knew Princess Diana well — says the Princess would have been a “very hands-on” grandmother. Speaking to OK! magazine, she said:
“[She] would have been doting, tactile and a very huggy granny in a way that the Queen, possibly, has never been. She would have wanted the grandchild to know normality, to be on the other side of privilege.”

When you find out you’re pregnant you start to plan out your birthing plan — do you want a home birth? water birth? Pain relief? However, no matter how much you map it all out — sometimes the experience can be a thousand worlds apart from what you expect or want. When singer Kimberley Walsh gave birth to son Bobby Jay on September 4th 2014, her delivery was also one that wasn’t as straight forward as she’d envisioned. Speaking to Mother & Baby magazine, she said:
I opted for an epidural before he was born. It would have been absolutely horrific without one.
Bobby turned at the last minute making it virtually impossible to push him out. If I had panicked I would have ended up with a C-section and it was very touch and go.
The doctors had to use forceps to move his head down and when he came out his face was looking up at us!

New parents Prince William and Kate Middleton have named their baby daughter Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. The name is thought to be in honour of her Grandfather, Prince Charles, Grandmother, the late Princess Diana and Great Grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
She was born at 8:34am on Saturday, May 2nd 2015 and will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Of Cambridge. She joins big brother Prince George Alexander Louis, 22 months.
