Jennifer Hudson Introduces Son David Daniel In PEOPLE

0

Singer Jennifer Hudson introduces her 2-month old baby boy David Daniel Otunga Jnr in an upcoming issue of PEOPLE magazine. The new mum also took some time out to answer a few questions by the magazine.

On how hard it was keeping her pregnancy secret:

Jennifer: David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there.

On how she recovered after delivering David via Caesarean:

J: Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterwards but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others. By that night after I had the baby, I’m like, ‘Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore. I’ve got to get up!’ I’ve been up and about since he was born. To me, the pain is no different than when you work out a muscle you’ve never worked out before and it’s sore.

On if David’s personality has started to emerge:

J: He has a lot of personality, like David [Otunga, his dad and Jennifer’s fiancé]. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favourite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle; that’s all he wants.

Brad Paisley And Wife Kimberly Introduce Son Jasper Warren

1

BPCountry singer Brad Paisley and his actress wife Kimberly are the cover stars of the recent issue of PEOPLE magazine along with sons William Huckleberry, 2, and Jasper Warren, 4 1/2 months.

Speaking of making the transition of one child to two children Kimberly says:

“Two feels like more than two. It feels like five sometimes! But we’re so fortunate that Jasper is happy most of the time.”

And unlike many celebrity parents, the Paisley’s rely on family and friends instead of a nanny when they have work commitments or a little ‘me’ time.

Says Brad:

“We have a couple of trusted friends and babysitters and two sets of grandparents. We don’t have anybody on payroll. That was a big deal for me. I’m lucky that my parents are in such good shape, and they are only 60.

“The other night, I called my mom and said, ‘We’re thinking about going to see a movie. What are you guys doing later?’ And they said, ‘We were just going to get something to eat, and we’ll come by when we’re done.’ They came and put Huck down and fed Jasper, and then we went to that movie. It’s nice to do that and then come home and know that they are with their grandparents and they are having a better time than when we’re here…and learning more probably!”

KDB7GMTV presenter Kate Garraway and husband Derek Draper feature as the cover stars in this week’s OK! magazine with newborn son William – or Billy as they will be calling him for short. She and husband Derek also have three year old daughter Darcey Mary.

The pictures were actually taken exactly one week after their son’s July 28th birth and it’s hard to imagine whilst looking at a radiently smiling Kate, that she went through quite a traumatic experience during the birth. Explains Kate,

“At one point the baby was very active and wriggling around and slipped to the back of my back which meant the midwife suddenly couldn’t hear his heartbeat. It was only for three minutes but to me it felt like an hour and I just thought: ‘Oh God.’

is ‘beside herself’ about her new baby brother.

When asked if they’d like to add to their brood, Kate replies,

“I’d do feel like I want one more but I might be high on hormones. I said to Derek: ‘I’ve really got the swing of this now.’ But maybe I should wait until he’s a month old or teething!’

Australian Actress Holly Brisley Introduces Son Levi Harper In Woman’s Day

0

HBAustralian actress Holly Brisley introduces  her 3 week old son Levi Harper Ford in a recent issue of Woman’s day and revealed all about why her idea of a natural birth was out of the question due to doctors orders.

“I had made it to 39-and-a- half weeks, and by that stage I was looking quite similar to a puffer fish. My hands and feet had swollen to the size of a giant’s, and I was more than ready to pop.

“Throughout the pregnancy I went to all the birthing classes and read up on everything with the intention of being the full earth mother when it came to the delivery, with no drugs and a completely natural birth.

“The obstetrician told us that the head still hadn’t engaged and that a natural birth wasn’t looking promising as my hips are quite narrow and he wasn’t sure Levi would fit, so he recommended a caesarean. Here I was, wanting a completely natural birth, and I ended up having a caesar with all the drugs.”

She can be seen back on UK screens in coming weeks when she reprises her role as Amanda Vale in Home and Away for a few guest appearances.
