Angelina Jolie Reveals She Never Thought Of Wanting To Be A Mum Until She Visited Cambodia

AJDespite having six children there was a time when actress Angelina Jolie couldn’t envision herself ever being a mum.

“It’s strange, I never wanted to have a baby. I never wanted to be pregnant. I never babysat. I never thought of myself as a mother.”

It’s only when playing with children at a school in Cambodia during the filming of Tomb Raider in 2000 that she suddenly changed her mind.

 “It was suddenly very clear to me that my son was in the country, somewhere.”

She finally became a mum in 2002 when she adopted son Maddox Chivan, now 14. She is also mum to children Pax Thien, 12,  Zahara Marley, 11, Shiloh Nouvel, 9, and twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, 7, with husband Brad Pitt.

Chrissy Teigen Reveals IVF Treatment During Swimwear Shoot

ctShe has the body and looks that can make many women envious and she also features in the 2016 swimwear edition of Sports Illustrated but presenter/model Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she was actually going through IVF treatment at the time of the shoot that took place in Zanzibar.

“I was getting my shots and everything in Zanzibar, I had a little medical kit. ‘It was hard because you bloat from it, and you bruise – if I hit the wrong area. That’s the kind of things we had to cover with makeup.”

Now expecting a baby girl in April with husband John Legend, the 30-year-old says despite the fact many choose to pose for a shoot during their pregnancy, it’s not something she would do for her own personal use but she would take the time to consider doing something like that for a magazine — if it was for the right one.

“John and I aren’t the kind of people to have a photo of ourselves in our house, like embracing the pregnant and naked thing. But if it were for a cool magazine and beautifully done, I would do that…[Sports Illustrated Swim Edition], I would have definitely done pregnant!”

Speaking of his joy second time dad Tom said:

Completely overwhelmed with love for our second son Buddy, and can’t wait for him to meet his big brother.

Alanis Morissette and Mario ‘MC Souleye’ Expecting Second Child

AMAlanis Morissette and husband Mario ‘MC Souleye’ Treadway are expecting their second child together it was revealed today.

Instead of the usual statement confirming the news, singer Alanis chose a rather different approach to announcing the family’s happy news — which also includes son Ever Imre, 5. Taking the excitement to her blog, the 41-year old revealed all through a self penned song which was also accopanied by an animated story.

The 4 minute 48 seconds video ends with the trio lovingly staring at several ultrasound photos.

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher Opt For Hypnobirthing Again For Second Birth

Tom-Giovanna--zWith only a matter of weeks until their second child arrives at the end of February, husband and wife Tom and Giovanna Fletcher say they are aiming to try hypnobirthing again after having such success with it the first time around when they welcomed son Buzz Michaelangelo in March 2014.

During a homemade video on Friday, January 29th,  – which is also the mum-to-be’s birthday, Giovanna explained:

 You are more in control and aware of what’s happening than you weren’t to do it and try to do it naturally. Hypnobirthing is all about realising what your body is trying to do and how to get the best out of your birthing experience basically.

Larry Birkhead Says He Tries To Be As Honest As Possible With Daughter Dannielynn When It Comes To Her Mum Anna Nicole Smith

jpIt’s been 8 years since the death of Anna Nicole Smith and her former boyfriend Larry Birkhead has been raising their daughter Dannielynn Hope, 9, single-handedly since. Like any other 9-year old their little girl enjoys playing computer games such as Minecraft and often searching for things she likes on Google. With that in mind, dad Larry says he tries to be as honest as possible with her when it comes to stories about her mum.

“I tell Dannielynn stories about her mom. I don’t sugar coat it. I say there are some things that your mom did and you know I try to make her learn from it. She’ll see things, when she grows up, that not necessarily are true. Was [Anna Nicole] wild? Yeah, sure. But [she was] a great lady and a great mom.”

Aside from the fact that her mum was famous and in the public eye, the 42-year old says his daughter has quite a normal upbringing and makes him proud daily — even achieving straight A’s at school.

“I think [about] how far she’s come, and all the craziness that swirled around her and that she was just, really none the wiser. ‘]Just a little kid doing her thing like she’s supposed to be. That’s the one thing that I’m most proud of that I’ve done, trying to keep everything as normal as I can, in just a really crazy, crazy situation.

I look at her and she’s my everything. When I see how big she’s become, I’m just so proud of her.”

As she’s gotten older Larry has also noticed her resemblance to her mum.

“She reminds me so much of her mom and as she gets older, and her features are changing, it’s just like having a little miniature Anna Nicole running around in so many ways.”

Ritchie Neville And Natasha Hamilton Discuss Telling The Children About Their Engagement

NHWhen singer Ritchie Neville planned to ask fiancée Natasha Hamilton to marry him on a recent trip to Rome, not only did he ask her dad for permission but he also bypassed it with her 13-year-old son Josh.

“I told Josh, he was pretty excited. We were sat on the sofa and it was just me and him a couple of weeks before and I said: “If I tell you something, can you keep a secret? He was like: ‘Of course I can, mate. I told him and he said: “Yeah that’s cool.’ It was a typical teenage response.”

Aside from Josh and their daughter Ella Rose, 13 months, both he and Natasha had to let Natasha’s two other sons Harry, 10, and Alfie Riad, 5, in on the exciting news.

Natasha: We told them the day we got home and they were made up. Alfie kept saying: ‘Can I try your ring on, Mummy? It’s very pretty.

Ritchie: Harry’s face was a picture. He gasped and had the biggest smile! I won’t ever forget that moment.

N: I’m their mum, so if they see me happy, they’re happy. We have been through a lot as a family so it’s just about showing them how much you love and care for them. They absolutely adore Ritch. Alfie actually said to me: ‘How many times do you get married, Mummy?’ And I said: ‘Well your supposed to do it once, but sometimes it doesn’t work out like that, but Mummy and Ritch are going to get married and that’s it, we’re stuck with each other forever.

And although the marriage will make Ritchie officially the boys’ stepdad and make things more solidified, it is a role he already sees himself in.

“I already feel like I am, but I do think it solidifies it in some way. I think kids understand marriage so it makes it very much permanent, not that it isn’t anyway. The whole point of a wedding is to give all of yourself and say until I leave this earth, I will be with you.”

Alex Weaver Reveals She Was Stunned To Learn She Was Pregnant

AWAfter returning from filming for Life on Marbs in Marabella, Alex Weaver was stunned to learn she was pregnant. The star, who didn’t realise she was already 17, weeks along revealed she only took a pregnancy test because of a strange craving for unwashed carrots.

“I [found out] when I was about 17 weeks pregnant. I’d just come home from Marbella. We finished filming at the end of July but I didn’t realise until September. I started having a craving for dirty carrots out of the bag. It was only when I was speaking to someone and they said: “When my friend was pregnant, she was craving dirty carrots – it’s the iron in the soil.”

The 19-year-old, who has recently taken a paternity test to prove that her unborn baby boy is ex-boyfriend Charles Martin‘s after cheating on him with The Only Way Is Essex‘s Dan Edgar, says she had no doubt that her former flame is the father.

“There was never any doubt in my mind it was Charles’ as I knew by the dates.”

Nick Carter and Wife Lauren Kitt Expecting First Child

Backstreet Boys band member Nick Carter and wife Lauren Kitt are expecting their first child together. A source close to the couple has revealed that Lauren is around 4 months pregnant and that the pair are “overjoyed” with the news.

“They are so happy and overjoyed. They’ve been trying for such a long time.”

McBusted’s Harry Judd Talks about Wife Izzy’s Pregnancy, IVF And How He Can’t Wait To Be A Dad

HIBack in July Harry Judd and wife Izzy announced they were expecting their first child together. And now with only a few more months to go until the impending arrival, the McBusted star has revealed he can’t wait to become a dad. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said:

“I have always longed to be a dad and have been broody for years, I cannot wait to see Izzy be a mum either.”

The pregnancy was very much longed for by the pair who sadly suffered a miscarriage in 2014. But the road to parenthood hasn’t been easy for the couple as they were struck with fertility issues when Izzy was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries – resulting in them going down the path of IVF.

“The hardship was before the IVF when nothing was happening, but using the treatment was a really positive achievement for us. We didn’t consider IVF for a couple of years, but it got to the point when we had exhausted everything else.”

Former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas and boyfriend Adam Horsely are expecting their second child together. Baby on the way is due in November 2015 and will join the couple’s 2-year-old daughter Ariana Siena. Speaking of her joy and sharing the news with a photo, the 32-year-old revealed:

Kian Egan and Jodi Albert Welcome Son Zeke

KEFormer Westlife singer Kian Egan and wife Jodi Albert have welcomed their second child together. Son Zeke was born at 7:49am on Thursday, May 21st 2015. He weighed 7lbs 13oz and joins big brother Koa, 3. Speaking of the joyous news, Kian said:

Koa got his wish when his baby brother Zeke was born this morning at 7.49am weighing 7lb 13oz. Sharing the same birthday as Jodi’s mum Eileen, the 21st of May. Both Jodi and Zeke are doing great. We are all so happy and so in love with him x

The date of Zeke’s birth is especially poignant for the family as sadly Jodi’s mum Eileen passed away in February after an eight-year battle with cancer.

Jennifer Garner Reveals Being A Hollywood Mum Can Sometimes Have Its Pitfalls

JG1Jennifer Garner has revealed that being a Hollywood mum can sometimes have its pitfalls — especially when trying to teach her children that every person is just as equal and as important as each other — regardless of social status. Speaking to Yahoo Parenting, she said:

“The hardest part is other kids talking to my children when we aren’t around. Like, ‘It’s so cool your dad’s being Batman’ and trying to control how much that inflates the idea that one person is more important than another. [My husband I] really work to manage that idea — that just because people react a certain way to us, it doesn’t mean we’re more important than anyone else. And [the kids] are pretty quick to cut us back down to size.”

The actress shares her three children — Violet Anne, 9, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 6, and Samuel Garner, 3 — with husband Ben Affleck and says starting a family is like getting to know each other all over again.

“You just go on a ride together because you don’t know who you’re going to be when you first have a baby and you don’t know who [your partner] is going to be. You have to just hang in there while you figure it out — and have a lot of patience for each other.”

She’s just started a craft line called We Made It with Joann-Fabric and Craft Stores and says it’s an activity she often likes to get involved in with the children.

“I don’t like my kids to start the day with TV, so we [play with the kits] on Saturday mornings.”

Autumn Phillips Talks Life With Savannah and Isla

APWith the nation still celebrating the birth of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, 17 days, Autumn Phillips — wife of Peter Phillips and mum of Savannah Anne Kathleen, 4, and Isla Elizabeth, 3 — gave an insight of what it’s like having two children so close in age and, from her own experience, what it was like welcoming siblings in to the family.

When Isla was born, Savannah had just turned 15 months. I don’t think she really noticed at first there was another baby. She just wanted to run around and tear the place apart.

It’s when they get older it gets tricky. They learn to share by fighting each other off. I have an older brother, a twin brother and a half-brother and sister so I know what it’s like. But siblings are a gift.

Along with Savannah, Isla and Princess Charlotte, Queen Elizabeth II also has two other great-grandchildren — Mia Grace, 16 months, and Prince George Alexander Louis, 21 months. With 4 out of 5 of them being girls — Prince George is outnumbered for the time being. Says Autumn:

There are a lot of girls in the family now. Poor little George — he’s going to be surrounded by bossy little ladies. But when they all get together again, it’ll be a blast.
